EGYPT - 50 Piastres
Description: 
Obverse:
Al-Azhar Mosque and its minarets.
Reverse:
The upper part of the statue of Ramsis II (Ramses II), backed by a vertical multi-colored ornamental band and a collection of lotus flowers and the sun boat. At the bottom right corner appears a Pharonic cartouche. On the left side of the note is a drawing taken from the facade of a Pharaonic temple.
Watermark:
The Statue of Tutankhamun. 



EGYPT - 1 Pound
Description: 
Obverse:
Sultan Qait Bay Mosque.
Reverse:
Part of the facade of Abu Simbel Temple. At the top and bottom of the note running in two bands horizontally are birds and other shapes taken from the structure built by Ramses II in front of the Luxor Temple of Amenophis II.
Watermark:
The Statue of Tutankhamun. 




EGYPT - 5 Pounds
Description: 
Obverse:
Ahmed Ibn Touloun Mosque.
Reverse:
Pharaonic wall relief- frieze "Bounty of River Nile". Wall relief describing daily activities.

Mask of Pharaoh King Tutankhamoun.

Description:

A mosque.
Reverse:
A Pharaoh.
